National Ayurvedic Medical Association of Russia was officially created in 2015, but in fact, the team has already existed for almost 20 years. During this period of time we were studying, practicing and doing research in the field of Ayurvedic medicine and other traditional medicine systems. We had the necessary resources and teachers who gave us the knowledge of traditional Ayurveda.

We always welcome the new members of the Association.

Tasks of NAMAR

Сорокин Олег Викторович Oleg Sorokin
MD, PhD, Executive director

Dr. Sorokin graduated from the Novosibirsk State Medical University. He started practicing Ayurveda and clinical phytotherapy in 2003. Research associate of Neuroimmunology lab in the Institute of Clinical Immunology of Russian Academy of Medical Science.
Assistant professor of “Normal Physiology” department of Novosibirsk Medical University.
Deputy dean of general medicine department of Novosibirsk State Medical University, group leader of medical engineering.
He is also the leading developer of the VedaPulse kit – a device that received recognition from the world experts in Ayurveda. Dr. Sorokin is the author of more than 75 publications on clinical physiology and pulse diagnostics.

Суботялов Михаил Альбертович Mikhail Subotyalov,
MD, professor, scientific adviser

Dr. Subotyalov graduated from Novosibirsk State Medical University in 1996. He started practicing Ayurveda in 1996. He is the author of more than 130 publications on Ayurveda and different health issues, including books “Studying Ayurveda easily”, “Time is my friend or how to learn to live in the present”, “Ayurveda: sources and characteristics”, “Healing with Ayurveda”.

Medical Doctor, Specialist in Neurology and graduated in Ayurveda (Ayurveda Academy, Pune, India and Joytinat International College of Ayurveda. Awarded in 2003 with the honorary doctorate “Ayurveda Acharya” (Ayurvedic Institute Asthavaidyan Thrissur Thaikat Mooss’ SNA Oushadhasala, India), he is Head of Medical Education of the European Institute of Vedic Studies, Switzerland, and Professor of Ayurveda at the Master course in “Health Systems, Traditional and Non Conventional Medicine” University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. Dr. Morandi is actively involved in several international clinical research projects in Ayurveda. He is member of the Research Advisory Board of AVTAR- AVT Institute for Advanced Research, Coimbatore, India, and also Co-Head of the Scientific Board of the INDRA - International Network for Development of Research in Ayurveda. Dr. Morandi is Editor in Chief - International Office of the scientific research journal “Ancient Science of Life”.

О Рам Манохар Dr. P. Ram Manohar
Research Director, Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Āyurveda, Kollam, India Director, AVP Research Foundation, Coimbatore, India

Dr. P. Ram Manohar, received BAMS and MD (Ay) degrees from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru respectively. He has been contributing in the field of Ayurvedic research since the last 24 years. He has served as Principal Investigator on projects granted by the Department of AYUSH, Indian National Science Academy and the Coconut Development Board. He has published research papers published in peer reviewed indexed research journals apart from contributions in chapters for books. Under his editorial leadership, Ancient Science of Life became the largest PubMed indexed research journal in the field of Ayurveda. He serves in the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal for History of Science published by the Indian National Science Academy. He is also the Chief Editor of Abhinava Dhanvantari, the new edition of the first journal for Ayurveda from Kerala published in the early part of the 20th Century.
